Learning Observed

Today Sivkheng completed a Reading Assessment with me. She read a higher Blue level book called “Clever Little Dinosaur”. Sivkheng read with 88% accuracy. This means she still needs to work at the same Yellow level for a bit longer to consolidate her word accuracy at this level. She was, however able to retell the story very well and answered most comprehension questions correctly.

Sivkheng is starting to read more words. I wonder if she is reading her book at home each night?

Sivkheng is developing her Capabilities in Reading. She is Reading many words with accuracy (Using Language, Symbols and Texts). Sivkheng is making sense of what she reads (Thinking).
