Learning Observed
Sivkheng was working with the beads today. She came and showed me the pattern she had made. I asked her what her pattern was. Sivkheng said the her first pattern was pink, yellow, pink, yellow. Then the next one was yellow, white, yellow, white. Sivkheng said the next one was red, orange, red, orange and the last one was white, green, white, green.
Evidence of learning

Sivkheng was able to create four different repeating patterns. I wonder if she is able to make a three colour repeating bead pattern?
Key Competencies/Vision Principles
Sivkheng was able to work at this task by herself (Managing Self). She was organising her beads to put them on in a specific way (Thinking). Sivkheng is developing her Capabilities in sequencing.
Next Learning Steps
  • To make a three colour repeating bead pattern.
  • To use other objects to make repeating patterns.
  • To share her learning with home.
